Goals in Brazilian football, Vasco and Fortaleza draw 3 x 3 for the Brazilian Cup.

In a dramatic penalty shootout, Vasco overcame Fortaleza 5-4 to advance to the Round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil! With six goals in regular time, three for each side, the return match at São Januário this Tuesday (21) was a stark contrast to the goalless first leg in the capital of Ceará.

Vasco's goals were scored by Vegetti (2) and Lucas Piton. On Fortaleza's side, Marinho, Lucero, and Hércules found the net.

In the penalty shootout, Gigante da Colina converted all their shots, while Leão faltered, missing the last of their five attempts, with young Kervin Andrade's shot saved by Léo Jardim.

As a result, Vasco secures a prize of approximately R$ 2.2 million and joins RB Bragantino, who defeated Sousa-PB 3-0 earlier, as the second team guaranteed a spot among the top 16 in the competition.  Victory goals for PSG, who played without Mbappé.

Paris Saint-Germain defeated Nice 2-1 this Wednesday in a rescheduled match of the 32nd round of the French Championship. Already crowned champions, PSG fielded an alternative lineup without star Mbappé, who is nearing the end of his contract and dealing with a muscle injury. Despite this, the team secured victory with goals from young players Barcola and Zague in the first half of the match. Cho reduced the deficit at the 31-minute mark, but PSG managed to control the game until the end. This result extended their lead at the top of the table to nine points, with 73 points compared to Monaco's 64. Paris will face Metz next Sunday in the final game of the Ligue 1 season.
