In a match marked by a nearly one-and-a-half-hour interruption due to a lightning storm, Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 2-1 this Saturday (3) at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, in the traditional pre-season El Clásico.

The clash in the United States marked the first time attackers Endrick and Vinicius Jr. played together for the Merengue team.

The former Palmeiras player started, while Vini began on the bench and came on in the second half. However, the Brazilians saw another player shine even brighter...

It was 22-year-old forward Pau Victor, recently permanently signed by Barça from Girona, also in Catalonia.

At 42 minutes into the first half, after a long ball into the area, Lewandowski set it up, and Pau Victor simply tapped it into Courtois' net.

Then, at 9 minutes into the second half, Pau Victor received a precise assist from right-back Álex Valle and finished with quality to extend the lead. At 37 minutes, Barça's defense faltered on a corner kick, and young Nico Paz, who had just replaced Endrick, headed in to reduce the deficit.

The goal energized the blancos, who pushed forward in the final minutes but couldn’t find the equalizer at MetLife Stadium.

Thus, Barça celebrated their victory over their archrival, while Real Madrid suffered their second consecutive pre-season defeat, following a 1-0 loss to Milan.

Manchester City and Milan faced off this Saturday in a pre-season friendly at Yankee Stadium in New York, USA. In a thrilling match, the Italian team emerged victorious with a 3-2 comeback win. Lorenzo Colombo scored twice, and Marco Nasti added another for the Rossoneri, while Haaland and McAtee netted the goals for the Citizens.

This defeat marked Manchester City's second loss of the pre-season, having already fallen to Celtic from Scotland 4-3 last Tuesday. Milan, on the other hand, secured their first victory of the pre-season, after losing to Roma 5-2 and drawing with Rapid Vienna 1-1.

Manchester City will be back on the field next Tuesday at 8 PM (Brasília time) to face Barcelona in a friendly at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. Meanwhile, Milan will take on Real Madrid on Wednesday at 9:30 PM at Soldier Field in Chicago.

In the first half, the English club opened the scoring at 18 minutes when Oscar Bobb made a right-wing cross for Haaland to finish. At 29 minutes, Chukwueze crossed to find Lorenzo Colombo, who equalized for Milan. Shortly after, in an almost identical play, Chukwueze crossed again for Colombo to score his second and put the Italians ahead at 33 minutes.

In the second half, at nine minutes, Micah Hamilton drove down the left and found James McAtee in the middle of the box to equalize the match. Milan's winning goal came at 33 minutes into the second half when Saelemaekers received on the right wing and passed to Marco Nasti, who slotted the ball into the corner of the net.
