With two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Al Nassr triumphed over Al Ittihad in a 4-2 victory on Monday (27th), during the final round of the 2023/24 Saudi League. The team, led by former Botafogo coach Luis Castro, finished the competition in second place.

Even without any objectives left in the final round, Al Nassr approached the match with seriousness, with all players determined to help Cristiano Ronaldo make history.

The two goals scored by the Portuguese striker made him the top scorer in a single edition of the Saudi League, with 35 goals, surpassing the previous record held by Hamdallah, who had 34 goals.

The victory brought Al Nassr's total to 82 points in the Saudi League, 14 points behind the undefeated champions Al Hilal. Meanwhile, Al Ittihad finished in fifth place with 54 points.
