Manchester City and Brentford goals
Manchester City defeated Brentford 2-1 and retained their lead in the Premier League. The home team's goals were scored by Norwegian striker Erling Haaland, while Yoane Wissa netted for the visitors. Brentford started the match by surprising the home side. Within the first 30 seconds, after a header by Keane Lewis-Potter inside the box, John Stones and Éderson failed to clear the ball, allowing Congolese forward Yoane Wissa to open the scoring.
Manchester City took time to find their rhythm, but once they equalized, they began to control the game. In a well-executed move, playmaker Kevin De Bruyne set up Haaland, who used his strength to hold off the defender, turned, and fired with his right foot into the back of the net to make it 1-1.
The winning goal for the Citizens came once again from Haaland. Goalkeeper Éderson launched the ball from the defensive half, and Haaland outmuscled Ethan Pinnock. Face-to-face with goalkeeper Flekken, the Norwegian striker chipped the ball over him, securing the victory.
